🍰 Vanilla Pastry Cake Recipe

METHOD:

Beat egg whites, gradually add sugar until stiff peaks form.

Add yolks, oil & vanilla. Mix gently.

Sift in flour, milk powder & baking powder gradually.

Pour into a greased 6-inch pan. Swirl with a toothpick to remove air bubbles.

Heat an empty pan with a stand for 5 mins (medium flame), then place cake pan.

Cook on low flame for 20–30 mins

or bake at 160Β°C for 20–30 mins in a preheated oven.

 

Let it cool. Slice into 3 layers.

Cream Filling:

Whipping cream – 1/2 cup

Sugar – 2 tbsp

Vanilla – 1/2 tsp
