How to Make Onion Hair Oil for Faster Hair Growth and to Stop Hair Fall

Ingredients:

1 large red onion (preferably, as it has higher sulfur content)
1/2 cup of coconut oil (or any carrier oil like olive oil or castor oil)
A few drops of essential oil (optional, for fragrance)
How to Make Onion Hair Oil

Step 1: Extract Onion Juice

Peel one large red onion and chop it into small pieces.

Blend the chopped onion in a blender or grate it using a grater to extract as much juice as possible.

Place the blended or grated onion in a muslin cloth or fine sieve and squeeze out the juice into a bowl. The onion juice will serve as the base for your hair oil.

Step 2: Prepare the Oil

In a small pan, heat 1/2 cup of coconut oil (or any preferred carrier oil) on low heat. Coconut oil is highly nourishing and effectively penetrates the hair shaft, making it an excellent base.

Once the oil is warm, add the extracted onion juice to the pan. Stir the mixture gently and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes on low heat. This allows the nutrients from the onion juice to blend into the oil.

After simmering, remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool. Strain the oil using a fine mesh strainer to remove any onion pulp or residue. This will leave you with a smooth, nutrient-rich onion hair oil.

If desired, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil (like lavender or rosemary) to mask the scent and boost the hair benefits.

Step 3: Store the Oil

Transfer the onion hair oil into a clean, dry, and airtight glass bottle. It can last up to 1-2 weeks if stored in a cool, dry place.
