Ingredients:
- 1 large onion, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup of raw honey (or as needed)
Instructions:
- Slice the onion into thin rings and layer them in a clean glass jar.
- Pour raw honey over the onion slices, making sure they are fully coated.
- Cover the jar and let it sit for at least 4-6 hours (or overnight) to allow the onion juice to mix with the honey.
- Strain the mixture into a clean container, discarding the onion slices.
- Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to a week.
How to Use the Syrup
For Adults: Take 1 tablespoon of the honey and onion syrup every 3-4 hours to relieve cough and congestion.
For Children: Give 1 teaspoon every 3-4 hours (for children over the age of 1).
