Key Lime Pound Cake

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) . Grease and flour a loaf pan (9×5 inches) or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2: Cream the Butter and Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract, Key lime zest, and Key lime juice.
Step 3: Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three parts, alternating with the buttermilk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined after each addition. Do not overmix.
