🍽️ Instructions:
- Clean the seed:
- After scooping out the avocado, remove any flesh from the seed.
- Rinse it well under water.
- Dry the seed:
- Let it air dry for 1–3 days OR
- Bake in the oven at 120°C (250°F) for about 2 hours to dry and soften it.
- Peel off the skin (optional):
- Once dry, you can peel the thin brown outer layer off the seed if you like.
- Cut and blend:
- Carefully cut the seed into smaller pieces (it’s very hard, so use a heavy knife).
- Blend the pieces in a high-powered blender or food processor until you get a powder. You can also use a spice grinder.
- Store:
- Keep the powder in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place for up to a month.
🍵 How to Use It:
- Add 1 tsp to your smoothies or juices
- Sprinkle on oatmeal or yogurt
- Mix into baking (muffins, energy balls, etc.)
- Brew as avocado seed tea: steep 1 tsp in hot water for 5–10 minutes
