Simple Bedtime Garlic Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 clove fresh raw garlic
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional, but helps with taste and digestion)
- A glass of warm water (not hot)
Instructions:
- Peel 1 clove of garlic and crush it gently (this activates the allicin).
- Let it sit for 5–10 minutes after crushing.
- Swallow the crushed garlic like a pill (you can chase it with honey or warm water).
- OR finely chop it and mix it with raw honey, then eat it directly.
- Follow with a small glass of warm water.
Best time: 15–30 minutes before bed.
Tips for Best Results:
- Start small if you’re new to raw garlic — try half a clove at first.
- Use organic garlic for the highest potency.
- If raw garlic upsets your stomach, try roasting a clove lightly or using it in warm milk (see variation below).
Optional Variation: Garlic Milk (for sensitive stomachs)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Directions:
- Warm the milk gently (don’t boil).
- Add crushed garlic and steep for 5–10 minutes.
- Strain and drink warm before bed.
This version is gentler on digestion, especially helpful if raw garlic causes heartburn.
